How Should I Start?>>>

Extension or alteration building can be a nightmare if a novice. We are Approved by Acceditus

1. Our first advise would be to get advise and inlist a Achitech (a good one be careful as some are lazy) such as one off an approved list. They should be able to advise whether you need planning ect.
2. Drawings are nearly always needed so have them drawn up by your enlisted Architech.
3. Check out local houses to see what have been approved already. Generally your build should not negatively affect the enviroment but should enhance. Planning are interested in the use of enviromental products and sometimes their may be some finacial benefits.
4. Be sure to explain what you want as your Architech may specify materials that are expensive or not practical for your build thus increasing build costs.
5. Make applications if required, normally your architech can normally help here.
6. Start seeking builders to provide a quote and use only approved companies such as ours be careful with plain recommendation as that will not protect you against poor credit history. Remember you will have to pay a deposit and interim payments during construction thus trusting the builder with your money.
7. Ask for approximate timescales from all involved
8. Your Planning application may not be straight forward and can take months before concent is given. Keep your builder informed of the situationas to prevent delays later.
